A Cafe for Older People - 60 Plus
We run a drop-in cafe every Thursday between 11.00am and 2.00pm for people over 60 years old. We provide freshly prepared food and a warm friendly environment; we may also be able to help with transport for those with mobility problems. Carers are very welcome.

Leading the fight against adult abuse
We work to protect, and prevent the abuse of, vulnerable older adults and by doing so we also protect other adults a risk of abuse. We were the first charity to address these problems and are the only charity in the UK and in Ireland working exclusively on the issue today.
Volunteer tutors - English and maths
Action Tutoring is an education charity supporting disadvantaged young people to achieve a meaningful level of academic attainment through tutoring support. We recruit volunteer tutors and partner them with primary and secondary pupils to increase their subject knowledge and confidence.

Be a Friend Service - Age UK
Provides home visiting volunteers to isolated older people
This service matches volunteers with older people who live alone and would benefit from a regular visitor for friendship and support. We also make regular telephone calls to keep people connected who are not being visited.

Beyond Barriers offer a mentoring support service for adult carers and former carers from “hard to reach communities", including; Black and Ethnic Minority, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender people, Refugee and Asylum seekers and people with Mental Health issues.
